I think the most messed up movie I've ever seen in terms of "oh my god, why did i ever watch this movie, i need to go shower this feeling off now" would have to be Kids. Yeah...

I haven’t seen Kids yet but the most unappealing film I’ve ever sat through was Storytelling by Todd Solondz. I didn’t really know who Solondz was at the time (this being 6-7 years ago). But because of this one film, I have since avoided the rest of his filmography, including his much-hyped Happiness.

Now, if we get into films that I couldn’t get all the way through… I’ll start with “Faces of Death,” a horrifying film that depicts people dying on film. This was a group Halloween rental gone sickeningly wrong. Still don’t know if it’s real or not. Don’t care to find out.

Other than that? I was only able to get through about 5 minutes of John Waters’ Pink Flamingos. Waters is known for his shock value filmmaking and has been another director I’ve avoided (with the exception of his oddly sweet-natured Hairspray) since. I’ve heard horror stories from friends and my sister who sat through more than I cared to that have never once made me regret taking off.

A friend wanted me to watch, Cannibal Holocaust (1980). Sick stuff!
