Alright, I've tallied up the total nominations for the actor and actress tournaments and here are all the vote-getters. The top 8 from each side will face off in a head-to-head tourney until we have 5 votes, one from everybody who submitted a top 10 list, and the 8 possibles have been knocked down to 1. Our collective "favorite" actor and actress of 2007.
The actor tournament is set, with the top 8 already decided, but because of a 2-way tie for 8th place on the actress side, I have a poll already up to decide which actress sneaks in... will it be Charlize Theron? My vote for the final actress spot goes to Elizabeth Banks. Mostly because I voted for her the first time around. Nothing against Charlize Theron, who can be very good, but with Banks' roles in Slither and 40 Year Old Virgin, and her upcoming turn in Zack and Miri Make a Porno (not to mention her role on Scrubs)...she just gets the edge for me.
Now...how is the rest of the voting going to work? Are each of us going to pick just one and narrow it down that way, or are we going to get it down to 5, then 3, and so on?
