Welllllll wow. Sayid is working for BEN!!!!! Oh man, so crazy. And they are launching things onto the island but there's an hour time difference?! So Jack says "i can't believe we've been on the island for 100 days" which if time runs an hour faster on the island, then that means they've been on the island for less time than they think! But how is that possible?!?!? Worm hole. AND the physicist told the pilot to stay on the EXACT bearing they came in on....yikes! What kind of crazy wrinkle in time is going on there?! OH MY GOD I JUST FIGURED IT OUT! IT"S A WRINKLE IN TIME! maybe? What else, oh, Sawyer wants to stay on the island. I'm counting him and Locke out of the Oceanic 6. So who's left? Juliette, Desmond, the chick and her baby...I guess a lot more...but still AND they're revealing one a week! Sweet. We get another one next week. This is awesome. :) Also can I just say that Sayid was so badass last night.

Locke leaves the island. He is the dead guy Jack visits at the end of season 3.
whaaattt!!
Ok.hear me out.locke is the least likely person to ever leave the island.this spit of land is the only place in the universe he wants to be.Leaving would be kill him.
so my guess is that he goes through a wormhole..portal..wrinkle..whatever way his father arrived on the island by.All six of them do.He leaves by accident(close-up of him on his knees crying his eyes out.But Poor broken Locke just cant take his settelement and wheel himself back to his box factory. So he FAKES HIS OWN DEATH..SOUND FAMILIAR.But with a little help from a friend...
I could be so wrong about this. But it sounds right.

Some real quick (or not-so-quick) thoughts on the episode...

First, damn you "Jay and Jack" for spoiling the first five minutes of this episode! A little 'light spoilers' my ass! Sayid goes all 007 on us and that's 'light'? What the hell? The dude is a sly sonuvabitch in the future man. Total James Bond for the dark side.

Anyways, yet another great episode to start Season 4. Predicted Hurley in the closet but never once saw the old Hurley doublecross coming. The guy's too lovable to doubt.

Is anyone else a little bit worried about the future of our beloved Desmond? Outside of the Penny storyline, brotha man hasn't had much to do yet this season (I'm hoping that's the only reason he's on that helicopter and not as the sacrificial lamb).

Next week we get some more Kate and Sawyer lovin'. ::YAWN:: Those two bore me when they're together. I'm not saying Kate should end up with Jack, but when Kate and Sawyer are together it's too much of this pathetic "I don't need you, I'm a loner!" attitude.

Don't know what the difference in time means for the island. Was that a 31 minute difference in total or just it took an extra 31 minutes this time for the rocket to get there? Because this could go a way towards explaining Walt's growth (outside of using HGH).

Oh and somebody please explain why Locke would let Charlotte go when he already had both Sayid and Miles captured. It's not like they were in a bargaining position. Felt like they left out a scene there too...

I'm sure I'm forgetting some other things, but I haven't watched it a second time yet and I'm hoping the rest of you guys will get my memory up and working again, so... thoughts?

I can't take credit for this idea, but Brian's such a sweetheart that he was going to allow me to use it as my own anyway.
So here it is: Does anyone else think that Miles has been traded for a specific purpose? He's a ghost buster--which is EXACTLY what Locke would love to find out so he could communciate with Jacob. Splendid! I'll be VERY disappointed and shocked if there's no storyline for this though. It sounds convenient, but exciting at the same time.

Also agree with Brian about how bored we are with the Sawyer and Kate saga. I think their relationship is a joke. They'd never be together off the island. I think that was a slap in the face for Sawyer when Locke brought that to the table.

I just continue loving the suspense (which is tripled by the intensity of the music) and puzzling questions to solving the mysteries of the darma iniative.

2 more days.... :)
